Fewer surprises from the equipment that can’t fail.

We build the maintenance strategies, asset data and EAM systems that keep heavy industry running.

Likelihood of failure
Low consequenceHigh
Every engagement starts here: ranking each asset by what its failure actually costs you in safety, production and repair. The dark corner is where your maintenance budget belongs.

Four problems we get called in for

The PM programme is not earning its keep

Routines inherited from the OEM manual, run on assets that do not need them, while the equipment that keeps failing has no task at all. We rebuild the strategy around consequence, using RCM and FMECA.

The asset data is unusable

Duplicate functional locations, blank criticality fields, BOMs that do not match the plant. We cleanse it, build the governance rules, and set up SAP Master Data Governance so it stays clean.

An EAM implementation is drifting

S/4HANA PM or Maximo, mid-build or mid-migration, with configuration decisions stacking up and no maintenance voice in the room. We provide that voice, plus config, testing and end-user training.

Nobody can forecast availability

You need a defensible number for a capital case, a turnaround plan or a production commitment. We build the RAM model, run the scenarios, and show you which bottleneck to spend on first.

How an engagement runs

Most of our work is a fixed-scope block of six to sixteen weeks. You get a named engineer, not a rotating bench.

Failure historyTen years of notifications and orders, cleaned
CriticalityEvery asset ranked by consequence of failure
FMECAFailure modes, effects and detection method
Task and intervalThe right work, at the right frequency
Live in SAP or MaximoLoaded, scheduled and measured

The chain we work along. Most maintenance programmes break at the third link, where failure modes were never written down, so the tasks were never justified.

Assess

Two weeks in your data and on your floor: asset register review, failure history analysis, interviews with planners and trades. You get a written baseline covering what is working, what it is costing you, and what we would fix first.

Design

Facilitated criticality and FMECA sessions, revised task lists, master data standards and system configuration. Built with your people in the room so the logic is understood, not just delivered.

Embed

Strategies loaded into SAP or Maximo, planners trained on the new routines, and a short set of measures so you can see whether it held six months later.

Built by practitioners, not presenters

Our directors ran maintenance and reliability inside operating plants before they advised on them, across mining, oil and gas, and petrochemicals.

Plant availability lifted through criticality-led strategy revision and bad actor elimination

Systems we work in

  • SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance and Enterprise Asset Management, from hierarchy design through configuration and cutover
  • SAP Master Data Governance, including workflow design and interface validation
  • IBM Maximo configuration, support and migration
  • SAP Asset Performance Management: we run the criticality, FMEA and strategy work that APM automates, then build the result back into PM
  • Maintenance master data at scale, including 40,000 maintenance plans, 3,000 task lists and 15,000 measuring points delivered on a single LNG asset
  • IREAMS, an enterprise reliability platform we hold a shareholding in, covering RCM, FMEA and FMECA, RCA and criticality analysis, in development

Analysis we run

  • RAM studies and reliability block diagram modelling, including a 22 Mtpa LNG train assessment
  • RCM facilitation, FMEA and FMECA
  • Asset criticality analysis, critical spares strategy and root cause analysis
  • Weibull and failure history analytics in Python and Power BI, applied to SAP PM notification and order data
  • Safety critical element strategy, lifted from 6% to 13% coverage on a live LNG facility

Tell us what is failing.

Send the problem in a paragraph. If we are the right fit we will tell you how we would scope it. If we are not, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
